WHAT IS VR AND AR?

Virtual Reality (VR) refers to computer technologies that use reality headsets, such as realistic sounds, images, that replicate a real environment or create an imaginary world. VR is a way to immerse users in a completely virtual world. Today, the field of use of VR is quite wide, for example, it is used in simulations for pilots, in computer games or in entertainment centers. While learning English, the use of VR will be very productive. For example, even though students are in the classroom, they can go to a virtual airport using VR glasses and discuss any topic about "travel" there. It will be a fun and productive lesson for the student. By clicking the link below, you can visit and examine a website created Virtual Reality environment.

Augmented Reality (AR) is a live, direct or indirect view of a physical, real-world environment whose elements are complemented by computer-generated sensory input such as sound, video, graphics. AR uses your current reality and adds to it using some kind of device. It is placing digital content in the environment through the camera. Using AR in language teaching is also very beneficial. For example, you are going to teach a word, but students may not know what that word means. Instead of showing a photo of it, you can act and teach interactively with students as if that object were in the classroom.
